Joe C
Hi all. I've been a fan of all the old arcade games. I personally get more fun playing all those games, as opposed to the new fancy games that come out today. Look forward to seeing you all around

Draxx
Hi, I go by Draxx, I'm a huge video game console collector and figured the next step would be to start up a MAME cabinet. It took me a bit to get started and almost wrote it off as I like to do a lot of the stuff myself and couldn't find a FE that I could configure without a lot of command line knowledge until I read up on MALA. Anyways I picked up a 1993 Sega Afterburner cabinet completely gutted but the cabient and plastic shell over the monitor are both completely intact so I figure it'll be good enough for my first cabinet but just need to figure out how to buld the control surface as I'm pretty good with electronics so the wiring of the cabinet won't be a problem, just getting the proper dimensions and thicknesses correct for the panel is probably my last hurdle. Anyways I look forward to utilizing this site as I near the midway point of my project.

freegamer
Just wanted to say thanks for all the work everyone has done. I'm 36 and love the old school video games. Kinda crazy I say old school but time does fly by. I'm married with two kids and trying to build a Hyperspin arcade machine. Every since I saw a video of it on youtube I've been hooked. Thanks everyone again.
