Just seen this LED monitor, looks like it would be cool to build a cab around it...granted it would be nicer if it was a 30".

Anyone else with possible LED monitors suitable for the job?

For sure, they are missing a whole market of possible customers.

They need to be showcasing some classic back glass on that product :woot:

Great find - a LCD Monitor that ist not 16:9, that can be useful for emulation.

Does someone know if there exists a  4:3 LCD?

Wow square monitors are expensive. I'm planning to go with a similar design as badflame's. I wonder if using a high def projector work?

I never thought that someone would make a monitor like this.  Glad they did, but man the price tag is staggering!

What a fantastic monitor. Perfect for displaying CRT shaders better on 4:3 games.

Awesome monitor with an awesome price tag. For my project i have an old AOC LM 928 . It may be only 19 inch but it is a 4:3 and the base is highly adjustable.

I have seen LCD used before, some of the emulators allow you to tweak video settings to mimic a CRT screen

Actually many do it nowadays and there is even hardware to do it (!) on LCD monitors.

Like this:

(interesting how a 2014 thread about an LCD monitor turned to this...)
