Ted777
Battletoads is easy, until you leave the beat-em-up mode and start racing, then it's time to reset lol.

This was one of the hardest ones on my wallet, i think it cost me like 25 coins to finish it the first time. But i would vote for Battletoads as well. Played it again recently on an emulator with save states, i was surprised how far i got when i was young without save states. All those old games are much harder indeed. The first few screens of Mega Man for example are harder than a lot of end-game levels of current games. Remorseless!
Andy_Goin
Do the NES versions of Ninja Gaiden rank or even count?
Spawk
Do the NES versions of Ninja Gaiden rank or even count?I say thats more of a platformer than beatemup.... i dunno. All 3 of those did have very difficult parts though. How about Golden Axe? I dont remember ever actually finishing it!Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk
TheHobbyist
I guess Battletoads won. This is one of my favorite genres and I'm always looking for new recommendations. If you really want to increase the difficulty of Battletoads though, play with a small child that thinks its fun to pummel his partner... 🤣
