start the game and select tab

go to dip switches and under cabinet change to upright(overlay)

next go to video options and make sure upright artwork is selected and also make sure everything is enabled and the view is cropped.

There are a few videos that need to be redone (mostly games with the title screen only and no gameplay). I think it would be much easier for Circo to have everything in one single post once he gets around to update these.

for the games that have no game play to speed up the loading process hit the F10 button for faster load times.

Looks like most of the videos you mentioned missing are clones which use the parent snap videos.

kind of joe, they are clones where the parents do not work, but the actual clones do work so videos for those should be made. Now that you pointed out I see there are parent videos on the ftp, but strangely I don't have them on my drive which is weird since I downloaded everything. So, I'll redownload that stuff and double check what I'm really missing.

I understand I use mala and I generate a list of working games only also. I'm just saying even if the parent games don't work but it has a working clone which really doesn't happen to often it should be labeled under the parent name so the clone games will use it also. If the clones have different graphics then we should make a separate video for them as we are doing. Whatever Circo wants to do is fine with me. Just as long as he fixes the ones above lol. Also talked to Mr. Do and he scanned the overlay for space zap and will be out on the next update. which means Circo will have to redo the space zap video again lol. I left some of the other videos out you mentioned because they just don't work or can't get past the initial screen even though they are marked working in mame.

Example for parent/clones would be the laser disc game cobra. Parent doesn't work (cobra) clone does (cobram3) I know everyone here uses the sync for hyperspin and emu so not sure if this would mess things up. In the FTP the video is labeled under the clone (cobram3). I just changed it on my end to the parent name (cobra) and works fine even though the parent is not on my game list.

Looks like there is enough for another batch, so I can make another go of it here soon. For sanity purposes i'm a little spread out. I'm working on ps2 one day a week, GameCube 2 days a week, misc 1 day a week, and a secret project that I'm not going to discuss until its done the rest of the time.

joe, to run sprtauth here's what you need to do:

- When ERROR appears, press F2, then F3 to reset, then F2 again and the game will start. It will take a while for the machine to reboot, but it will happen what I did is I pressed F2,F3,F2,F3,etc. several times just to be sure.

Also if you could have a look at this list and see if you can figure how to play some of the games I'm having trouble starting that would be great.

Where did you find the cyclshtg video btw? I can't find it on the ftp, only bronx and it's a 240p version so it needs to be redone (on my list above already).

While the FTP and Download service have been getting updates, the download section has not. It's a huge pain to do, but once we settle on the set being DONE then I will probably get around to it.
