My almost complete Arcade Cabinet

Hello to all,

I have recently finished most of the work on my arcade cabinet, and I thought you might want to take a look at it.

The whole thing was made from scratch (Pine tree Wood + some mdf), painted black + then carefully and painfully 'dowloaded-printed-cut and glued' (decoupage) all the sides 'stickers' (well they are not stickers, I used a technique simillar to decoupage).

Small details are left, such as finding-buying and installing the T-molding,

and a marquee design.

Other than that it works pretty well!.

Hope you enjoy the photos

There is also a Video Available Here, at my youtube channel :

keep on gaming!!

@madmorro Oh I remember that cabinet. Isn't that BBB's? That thing is nuts!

O love the "decoupage". Nice idea for a cabinet that plays thousands of games.

  • Thanks :)

  • It 'lights up' the room it is in, giving an 'artistic / modern' look to that room. It took about 2 days of work for the stickers to be applied! It also occupies players that does not play or wait for their turn, by scanning the cabinet with their eyes, reading all the stickers

Very, very nice. So is there any special significant for the stickers; are they the games on the machine, or favorites, or just completely random?

Most of them are favorites (such as Cadillacs & Dinosaurs which I cannot get it to play in the new version of Mame), and the rest are all sweet memories of my childhood :)

Any ideas how to get the new mame in windows 7 to play the cadilacs & Dinosaurs rom?

Nice cabinet. looks crazy. How would you rate the X Arcade dualstick ? I just bought the X Arcade Tankstick and was thinking about buying the dualstick for my bar top arcade project.

Thank you for not destroying a classic in the making of your MAME cab!  That means the world to arcade collectors such as myself!
