Atari 5200 Video Snaps Updated (74 New Videos)

Happy weekend everyone! Today we have 74 new video snaps for the Atari 5200 bringing the full set up to 169 videos in total.  Most of these new videos are the unlicensed and prototype titles that were not previously included.  A mister fpga was used to record all the game footage.

XBOX 360 Video Snaps Retail Released (1,144 New Videos)

I am super excited to announce that the XBOX 360 Retail Video Snaps set is finally out.  For this 1.0 release we have 1,144 new video snaps for you guys.  This was the first major pass at this, didn't include any kinect only games yet, live service games are of course excluded and there are quite a few others that I couldn't get to easily run that may also be mission, but it is rather complete.

MAME HD Video Snaps Complete (Full Video Set Redo)

After 2 years of effort we here at EmuMovies have finally completely re-recorded and remade the complete MAME video snap set.  The previous set had its roots going back 16 years and things look so much better now.  The new videos are available in 1080p, 480p and 240p sizes depending on your use case and are available on the website in 240p quality and on our FTP and Sync services in all quality levels.  Thanks to our internal team for helping to get all these done, edited and available.  We will keep posting updates to our sync and ftp services monthly as new titles come out (we are working on another update right now) but if we don't just stop and announce our progress nobody will know! 
So please take a moment and refresh your video snaps, you will be glad you did.  Thanks to all our supporters and front-ends that keep us going every month and a huge shout out to Launchbox for their 11 years of partnership.  Enjoy the content everyone.

Nintendo Switch Video Snaps Updated (3,520 Videos)

Today we dropped some new video snaps for the Nintendo Switch. The set is now at 3,520 videos covering hopefully most of what people need. There is an almost unlimited amount of games (shovelware) for this system.  I think the total is now somewhere north of 16,000 games in the library. So here is what we are asking, if you are still missing some videos for installed games or find an error, please let us know in the EmuMovies request section on the forums and we can prioritize those videos on the next round.

Nintendo 3DS Video Snaps Updated (73 New Videos)

Happy Easter Everyone!  We have an update for the Nintendo 3DS today, version 1.1.  73 new video snaps havce been added bringing the full set to 583 video snaps.  Big thanks to @RLBradders26 and @drewby for helping out with the recordings.  Video Snaps are currently available via EmuMovies Sync and the EmuMovies FTPs.  Videos are in HD and HQ versions. 
Our next release has been cooking for awhile, we are working towards are first big Nintendo Switch video snaps release.  Progress is being uploaded every couple of days to the FTPs and 1.0 should be ready by the end of April.  Feel free to take a peek if you are curious.

      Fire10 over at the HyperSpin forums gave me a heads up that we needed a few new videos for the Sega Genesis set and I wanted something easy after the last round of updates so here you go. This update contains some naming corrections to improve sync and 25 new video snaps. I have updated the set in all areas including the Download Section, FTP and Download Service.

      I have added or replaced 569 video snaps for MAME. Still some more to go until I do another update in the downloads section, but these can be found on the FTP and Download service in the 480p section. As a part of this update all of the videos for the SNK Classics database were redone and are included. SNK Classics was also added as a System.

      GameCube Video Snaps Updated (268 Videos)

      Here is "almost" the first half of a full Nintendo GameCube video snap redo. The emulation has progressed so far since 2012-13, when the majority of the last set was recorded, that it was decided to redo the set. Included in this update are 268 new videos. The videos were captured using Dolphin 5 RC or the latest build of 4. Captures were made using nVidia Share and edited initially with adobe premiere and finalized in virtualdub. All videos are 640x480, 60fps with 192kb audio and utilize our new higher bit-rate encoding. Currently these new videos can be found on our F.T.P. File Server and our Download Service.

      With all the recent changes it's about time to try and start clarifying some things. In this article I am going to discuss how to receive Content Contributor or Developer Access. EmuMovies goal is to be a media portal for all Front-Ends. We started out 10 years ago primarily focused on video snaps but over time it just became EVERYTHING.       Daily download limits have been increased for Basic and Advanced Members of EmuMovies.
       
      Starting today:
       
      Basic Members now have a 1GB per day site download limit
       
      Advanced Members (Active in the Forums) have a 1.5GB per day site download limit.
       
      As always Content Contributors and Supporting Members are unlimited.
