Too Many Files...?!?

Just updated my Mame to ver. .260 and went to update my Hyperspin media, get all the current videos, and Hypersync is not logging in (I know that's another forum discussion) but went to EmuMovies Sync and logged in, set up the paths and it gave me a "Too many files to search" error, even with subfolders off, first time I've gotten this with subfolders off, is there a reason or work around? TIA

If you use a merged set this issue won't happen.  But  if the set is unmerged or completely unfiltered it can overload the processing buffer.  I am not sure what an unmerged romset is these days (over 100,000)?  Best just to FTP the full set and pop it in the media directory as matching won't matter if using an unmerged set.

Proposal, Tom we can break roms into subfolders and add multiple dir for roms in MAME.

For updating rather than changing dir several times and downloading, can you add an option to process subfolders sequentially, rather than accumulating to the same array in one pass?

Effectively running download process independently for each subdir?
