Nintendo Switch Video Snaps Updated (3,520 Videos)

Today we dropped some new video snaps for the Nintendo Switch. The set is now at 3,520 videos covering hopefully most of what people need. There is an almost unlimited amount of games (shovelware) for this system.  I think the total is now somewhere north of 16,000 games in the library. So here is what we are asking, if you are still missing some videos for installed games or find an error, please let us know in the EmuMovies request section on the forums and we can prioritize those videos on the next round.

Nintendo 3DS Video Snaps Updated (73 New Videos)

Happy Easter Everyone!  We have an update for the Nintendo 3DS today, version 1.1.  73 new video snaps havce been added bringing the full set to 583 video snaps.  Big thanks to @RLBradders26 and @drewby for helping out with the recordings.  Video Snaps are currently available via EmuMovies Sync and the EmuMovies FTPs.  Videos are in HD and HQ versions. 
Our next release has been cooking for awhile, we are working towards are first big Nintendo Switch video snaps release.  Progress is being uploaded every couple of days to the FTPs and 1.0 should be ready by the end of April.  Feel free to take a peek if you are curious.

Sony Playstation 3 Video Snaps Update

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! Wanted to take a minute and share the progress on this years big project.  Today I uploaded another 250 videos and we are now over the 80% mark.  As it currently stands we have recorded and edited 1683/2048 Video Snaps and should finish in Q1 2024.  To make this set the team here used 2 PS3's to capture cards.  Currently all released videos are ready to download via EmuMovies Sync and the EmuMovies FTP in HD and HQ formats.

Microsoft Windows (PC Games) Video Snaps Updated (979 Videos)

Happy to announce that our library of video snaps for Microsoft Windows has increased by 979 new videos bringing the set to 6,844 video snaps in total.  These were all user submissions, trimmed as needed and audio levels normalized. Thanks go out to users @kim_sama98, @ray572, @sebas78, @wiggles, @rubee64, @SonofBeast, @CasperH & @Henstra1989 as well as some anonymous submissions.   Videos are available on the EmuMovies FTP and EmuMovies Sync.

Nintendo 64 Video Snaps Updated to v1.7 (33 New Videos)

Thanks to @DamnedRegistrations for a new update to our Nintendo 64 Video Snap collection.  This update contains 33 new videos bringing the complete video snap set to 413 video snaps.  High Quality video snaps can be downloaded through EmuMovies Sync or the FTP and Standard Quality is available on the Website, EmuMovies Sync and FTP.

    6. ChuckECheese's Match Game

      I created box covers and marquee for the ChuckECheese's Match Game, cecmatch.zip. There are already existing screenshots. While it's not a great game by any stretch, I remember these fondly from my kids' birthday parties many years ago. Now that they are out of business, most of these arcade games are in the trash heap and will never be seen again. If anyone has a good hi-res picture of a bezel or cabinet, I can create those as well.

    8. Nintendo Game & Watch 3D Boxes

      This pack contains 3D Box Art for all 60 of the "Nintendo Game & Watch" Titles (56 are currently emulated in MAME) with 98% of them made from original hi-res box scans and photos. When trying to import the Nintendo Game & Watch platform I realised that the existing (but great) 3D Boxes didn't match the same angle / orientation as my other systems and a few titles were missing so I decided to create my own set of box art from scratch.
      Some of the original boxes and box scans are understandably in pretty rough shape after four decades, so I've cleaned them up a substantial amount but there are still some imperfections which I left there to preserve the original box as much as possible. So expect some folds, creases, tears, sticky tape residue and smudges but I think it gives them all a bit of character  I'll update if I can source some really good quality scans of less battered cartons. 

      When I started this I probably didn't realise there was so many different sized boxes used depending on the game or series so I've done my best to represent these as authentically as possible whilst keeping a consistent width and reasonable file size. Files are named as per MAME 0.231 
      Hopefully you like them 🙂 
      RELATED ARTWORK
      2D Box Art using these images can be found here: Nintendo Game & Watch 2D Boxes WANTED
      Any hi resolution scans (300dpi or better preferred) or very large photos of the original "Crystal Screen Series" boxes. Ideally I need the whole box, or at least front and sides which are captured directly front on. i.e. not photos from angles. I can fix perspective to a small degree and the bigger the better. There are "re-created" boxes out there. Would love to find some original box scans for these if at all possible 🙂
      "MISSING" BOXES & VARIANTS
      Just a note that this set only includes Nintendo Game & Watch titles and not other handhelds that are often packaged up as Game & Watch such as Mattel, V-Tech and other non Nintendo games (often contained in the very impressive MADrigal simulation set!) I might get around to those at some point as there is definitely a lot of love for them, but finding complete high resolution original artwork scans and photos is not easy! (Especially side box art!). There are also country variations, box variants so we'll see how we go 🙂

    9. Nintendo Game & Watch 2D Boxes

      This pack contains 2D Box Art for 59 of the 60 Game & Watch Titles (56 are currently emulated in MAME). The goal here was to use original box art so 98% of these are made from original hi-res box scans and photos. So like the Game & Watch 3D Box Art Pack bare in mind some of these boxes are nearly 4 decades old and were understandably in pretty rough shape! I've cleaned them up a substantial amount but there are still some imperfections which I left there to preserve the original box as much as possible. So expect some folds, creases, tears, smudges, sticky tape residue! But I think it gives them all a bit of character and keeps them true to life, even if some of them are a bit rough around the edges!  

      I'll update this set if I can source some really good quality scans of less battered boxes. I may also do an alternate "fully restored" set at some point but that might push those into re-creations. There's quite a few different box shapes and sizes so I've done my best to represent these as authentically as possible whilst keeping a consistent width (1280px) and a reasonable file size. Files are named as per MAME 0.231

      The missing box art is for Super Mario Bros. YM-901-S. Still figuring out how to go about this one as it's a little bit different  Plus I'm looking for a really good high definition scan of the "box".
