Hello everyone, i have been using emumovies for a long time with launchbox with no issues but i got fed up with windows and i moved completely to linux, i am currently using BazziteOS and i have used emudeck to setup ES-DE. The scrapers built in to ES-DE are very limited and i would like to somehow scrape my roms collection with EmuMovies, how can i do that? anyone can help on this one? Is there any way to integrate scraping on ES-DE? or use any external scraper that will scour the roms folder and grab what is needed? Please all and any help will be deeply appreciated.

Understood, our server has been taking a ddos attack for the past 12 hours. They were attacking the supermodel3 website and forum we were giving hosting to. We have suspended the site and blocked china outright at the server level but 6000 requests a second are slowing things down and some requests occasionally get interrupted. It should clear up soon, but in the meantime just give it a few minutes and try again.

Hey there, i switched to Linux a few years ago and the software i missed the most was LaunchBox. There are alternatives like AttractMode, Pegasus and so on but they either lacked in functionality or in presentation. Since it doesnt seem that there will be an alternative in the near future i worked over the last three months on my own tool, and I released an alpha on GitHub. If you are a Linux user and are interested, I’d be happy to share what I have so far: Retromind Please be aware that this is a a really early alpha version of the tool...so handle your game collection with care What the tool can do at the moment - Fully flexible content tree on the left (you decide the structure) - Treat anything executable as an emulator and assign it to any node in the tree (with inheritance through the sub-nodes) - Mass import or manual import of media items (games, movies, ebooks, …) - Assign graphics and music to your media items which is used in CoreMode and BigMode - Flexible launcher logic for emulators and native programs (wrappers, env variables, Wine prefix support) - Scraper functionality (currently IGDB, TMDB, Google Books, OpenLibrary, ComicVine – requires your own API keys) - Optional BigMode / controller-friendly UI (only simple themes so far, but you can design your own in AXAML) Is this as good as Launchbox/Playnite...: Hell NO. This tool has been in the works for about three months, there are probably a gazillion bugs and a lot of functionality is still missing. But if you want to have a look and maybe give me some feedback, I would really appreciate it 🙂

After 2 years of effort we here at EmuMovies have finally completely re-recorded and remade the complete MAME video snap set. The previous set had its roots going back 16 years and things look so much better now. The new videos are available in 1080p, 480p and 240p sizes depending on your use case and are available on the website in 240p quality and on our FTP and Sync services in all quality levels. Thanks to our internal team for helping to get all these done, edited and available. I was thinking that too. I'd recommend just grabbing a full set in .chd format or converting them yourself with CHDMAN. Save tons of space plus way less files. The days of bins + cue's are pretty outdated for many systems since a lot of modern emulators now support chd and other similar formats. This is what my PS1 set looks like, never had any scraping issues.

I get the feeling since you have mentioned "so many files" that you are using a raw redump set. Which means a cue file for each game and an assortment of .bin files. Go to the root of your files, search for ".cue" then copy all those files and paste them into a directory. Scan that for a 1 to 1 match of your rom set.

I haven't used the sync program in a while but have you tried renaming your folders or system to "Sony Playstation"? I don't recall having this issue in the past. You could also try just directly connecting to the FTP and navigating to the Playstation folder under Artwork.

Sorry, I think this was fixed when I renewed my EmuMovies subscription. In my last post, I mistakenly just looked at the LaunchBox image import screen, not realizing that the EmuMovies importing (which includes video) was on the next (almost identical) page of the media download wizard.

We have a completely separate server and api specifically for Launchbox. It can be a little picky with passwords. Please set password to alphanumeric (letters & numbers only) and see if that resolves your issue

View File Game Boy 3D Boxes Pack 3D Boxes Pack for the Nintendo Game Boy Availability - Site, FTP, Sync So I recently updated my Nintendo Game Boy database to full version 1.2 (with japanese and unlicensed games). I did make a cheapy 3D box set for this system a few years back with just USA and Europe games. This one is updated with every game in the database including japanese games and those shitty Sachen games. All spine art has been recreated and many of the boxes are cleaned up and look very nice. The Sachen game boxes dont look nice because I couldnt find any decent scans. I even had to make a few custom boxes for the games I could not find. Some Japanese boxes look like crap too because I could not find ANY decent scans for those. I found a handful of redrawn japanese boxes here but they were never completed. There are 250 japanese and unlicensed games in in the database alone! That was actually frustrating, but ever game in the database has a box art image. Included are photoshop templates for those who wish to add or update existing game boxes. Enjoy this collection!
