I saw a recent pack go up and I'd hate to see people doing work that had already been done.

I'm hoping that new pack upgraded a lot of the manuals that were old and low quality.  I spent about 8 months touching up roughly 40,000 pages  and the front/back covers on these and uploaded them to Archive.org about a year ago now.  I've got it up there in several formats, as well as a boxart/cart/title/action pack for 2,000 total NES games, with a ton of them touched up by me and I made a lot of carts and boxes for the obscure games and hacks that didn't have covers or carts.  Sometimes having to get pretty inventive with random things I'd find online to make the artwork.

The Calibre library versions have something like 1,000 metadata tags to sort and filter results as well as making sure to highlight who was responsible for the over 400 Japanese games that were translated to English.  I didn't translate any of the manuals, but I touched up and restored something like 400-500 Japanese manuals in here as well.  (Thanks to Hubz at Gaming Alexandria for about 85% of those high quality Japanese manual scans.  Other thanks can be found in the download.) All manuals, even the lowest-quality US manuals from 20 years ago were split, so they all can be viewed uniformly in whatever program you're viewing them with.  The 5-star rating system in Calibre is used to denote the quality of the manual/restoration.  Maybe we get a lot of replacements for the 1 and 2 star old crap that wasn't worth putting any effort into besides splitting the pages with that new pack uploaded here.
