Need some help with videos download from Launchbox

Hello,

I never post anything here but I need a little help and maybe i'm not doing things correctly:

I am using Launchbox with my Emumovies account (lifetime supporter for both) 

I have connected my Emumovies account into Launchbox to download medias for my whole game library (15k+ roms)

I have a problem with batch videos download from emumovies.

All medias seems to be downloading correctly (Box art, background, disc images,...) BUT for videos, I have a lot of errors (Fail to download (404) not found)
Its very frustrating because my big box theme only shows videos medias so I have a lot of games with nothing. 
I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one with that issue
The trick I have found is to manually edit a game into launchbox and go to alternate name and changing the name of the game. This makes the movie to become available to download from emumovies. So it seems it’s a naming problem but I can’t edit game 1 by 1 

How is emumovies detecting my roms? With name, CRC ? Other? Any way to fix my library to make it "legit" for video downloads?

 

I want to try with emumovies sync tool but I don't know if I have to rename my roms before using and how to add the downloaded medias to Launchbox?

Currently it matches your rom name. Can you provide an example of which system you are having issue with or if it’s more than one, let’s start with one. And what type of naming do your rom files use? Please provide a sample and I can take a look.

I have the issue with almoste all my systems.

My roms are named "GAME_NAME (REGION).xxx"

But I mainly use EUR roms.

I have to go into Launchbox' alternate name option and choose a name from another region.

And after that, I can download the movie for the EUR version of the rom. So this proves that the media exists.

Definitely give our standalone utility a try, it has a bit more robust matching strategy.  Launchbox will read media that's named LB Database OR ROM Name which is what our utility will download.
