Video Snap download options missing from LaunchBox + EmuMovies Sync

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm trying to download gameplay movies to display in LaunchBox/BigBox, but can't find any way to do it.  I'm on a brand new Win11 Pro computer, running the latest paid version of LaunchBox 13.21, and latest paid version of EmuMovies Sync (2.7).

In LaunchBox, there is a feature: "Download Metadata and Media Wizard", but even when configured properly with EmuMovies credentials, it only offers to download image types, and there are no video options.  I posted a separate complaint for this on the Launchbox forum here.  With EmuMovies Sync, I can select a system, but the "Available Media" dropdown only offers image artwork types -- there are no video download options.  When I tried to download "All Artwork", it only downloads images.

On an older computer, running an older version of LaunchBox and EmuMovies Sync, I see that Video Snaps had successfully been downloaded into the Launchbox/Videos folder for all of my games and systems.  However on the new installations of both software, I don't see any UI to scrape video snaps for my library.

Thanks!  I didn't notice it was expired when I checked my account status.  After renewing, I'm able to see Video download options in EmuMovies Sync.  However, I still don't get the option in LaunchBox (even after restarting the app), but I guess that's a Launchbox issue.

Re authenticate inside launchbox and it will update

Thanks -- I tried that (Tools -> Options -> Integrations -> EmuMovies -> "Test") but still get the same problem.  From both of my computers, even after killing and restarting and clicking the Test button, I only get image types in the download wizard.

Sorry, I think this was fixed when I renewed my EmuMovies subscription.  In my last post, I mistakenly just looked at the LaunchBox image import screen, not realizing that the EmuMovies importing  (which includes video) was on the next (almost identical) page of the media download wizard.
