Circo
Well I have had a chance to compare the new ftp to the old one and initial tests are that we are in much better shape. Many users (including myself) had to set the ftp client to active mode in able to connect. There were consistantly dropped files and disconnects. With the new FTP once I set my connection type to the recommended "passive" mode I have had excellent results. So far I am 20 hours without a dropped file! The moral of this story is that we now have a solid and stable server so please change you settings back to "passive" mode
Talonius
Just curious: does it support resuming an interrupted download?
garwil
Hurrah! I can finally connect to the FTP in Windows! Previously I was having to download using my Mac and transfer the files across! Thanks!
