Problems chatting here and uploading to FTP

Hi

I'm still having the "nopermission" problem. It doesn't let me chat, shout in the box or change my status without signing out and in every time I restart my browser/leave the computer for a longer time.

But, what's worse, I can't seem to upload any videos to the FTP. I get the following messega fter trying to upload for a while: ! Upload failed on 69.10.48.154 (/Work in Progress - These Folders Will Be Cleaned as Sets Are Finalized/Jochitko/Gameboy Advance [AVI][41 More Videos, Last Ones]/Crash of the Titans (USA) (En,Fr).avi). (connection reset by peer)

I can still grab videos of the FTP no problem.

Is there a FTP issue or is it just me?

(I have done some new GBA videos, TurboGrafx16 videos, Intellivision)

Ok let's get some basic info and see if we can't figure it out or recreate the issue.

IE 8, on 64 bit Win7 (not 64 bit version of IE)

FTP Client(s):

FeechFTP (Seems to work with HS, although I haven't uploaded any big files like videos there)

Cache Cleared: Y/N

Yes

Cookies Cleared: Y/N

Don't know... I cleared everything IE offered except sites I have been to and passwords. Don't know if cookies have to be done manually somewhere.

Can't find no log in the LeechFTP installation folder, all I can give you is this:

When I upload videos they do upload very slowly (like 20 kbits) and then LeechFTP aborts the upload, and the videos are on the FTP, but corrupted. Downloading is no problem. I have a good stable internet connection also. I would perfer not changing my FTP app cause this one is very easy to use (my first one ever ).

I know you dont want to, but just to rule this out, try filezilla for FTP (It's super easy) and try Google Chrome for browser, and let me know what the results are if you can. I am uploading at 400K to the ftp right now

I just tried IE8, and while status updates is working for me the shoutbox is not...hmmm, works ok in other browsers. I did call the service provider to see if anything was going on, and of course there is....

We had some downtime between Saturday and Sunday. What had happened was there was a fire and it took out much of the infrastructure. There were 5 bandwidth providers supporting our server, their lines were all taken out, currently we are on a backup provider and the other ones are supposed to be back online by the end of the week. It is affecting bandwidth to a small degree especially the uplink. That is what is causing the difficulty uploading to the ftp. I am sometimes going full speed and others times uploading at a crawl. It should be fixed shortly. Downloading should not be affected.

I haven't had time to do any tests/install chrome. No problems with the FTP anymore though. But I still have the problems in the forum here, as described above. I'm writing this only to clarify that the new design and site hasn't resolved the issues.

Is anyone else having this problem? I would love to sort it out but I can not recreate it
