Download Service New MP4 Video Questions

Hello,

I've been using emumovies here for a while with the download service utility. I currently am using gameex and have roms in the good merge format, compressed with .7z (which nicely integrates with gameex so that i can keep the lists clean).

I tried to download the latest snes video_mp4_hi_qual without success. Although the other artwork will find the .7z good merge rom formats and rename correctly, the newer video format doesn't seem to. It scans and looks like it finds them, and even says it's downloading (but the bandwidth meter doesn't show up like when downloading successful files). Also, it creates the folder Video_MP4_HI_QUAL (or Video_MP4 if I choose low definition). But after the download, there is no files in those new folders.

Is there something I'm doing wrong on my side, or could it be a problem with the new format? I did notice in the blog entry that it says it's mainly compatible with the DAT-o-MATIC No Intro format. I'm currently not using that (should I?) as it doesn't seem to give me the ability to zip all the flavors of a game in a nice merged file that can be integrated with gameex.

One last question (sorry), will the number of files be the same for the hi and low definition mp4? It appears to be the case when I spot checked SNES using the FTP service. I just didn't know if the low def files would come first and the high def files might come later. If so, I'll only download the hi def files and not worry I'm missing some at low res.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

OK - will do. Will the procedure of creating the movies change based on the tweaks? I'm looking to start creating / contributing some videos, but I don't want to do this until the work procedure is ready.

Thanks.
