Enverex
I noticed image sizes seemed to be all over the place in my front end so I checked the images directly and the problem seems to stem from there: Lots of the wheel art has dead space above, below or either side of it which should have been cropped off. I'd do this myself via a batch processing script, but they'll end up overwritten next time I sync to fill in any gaps that have had artwork added since. Is this an oversight or by design? I can't see a good reason why it would be by design as it just ends up causing image scaling issues due to "empty space".
phulshof
I batch removed those as well for my HS MAME set posted on the HS forums. No idea why they did it.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Enverex
I batch cleaned up everything before realising that EmuSync then just redownloads everything, I assume because the CRCs/size now doesn't match. So that didn't really work.
Circo
If you want to submit the cleaned up ones without the dead space I can replace in sync
phulshof
Sure, I've downloaded BBB's set, and am running a batch conversion atm. I should be able to upload the results tomorrow.
phulshof
Upload complete; they're in Upload/mame_wheels_converted. Let me know if these are OK for you or if I need to do something more. :)
Fenn
Yes I've run into this issue with a lot of the logos. I ended up batching them through photoshop to just remove any space until it hit a pixel on each of the 4 directions.
