Boxart naming Standards

I had asked this question in a different thread, but I think it's something that warrants its own post.

What's the best way to name, organize, and distribute Boxart?

Right now, I'm leaning towards the following structure:

<Category> \ <ROM NAME> . jpg

for example:

ROMs \ Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (World).md

Boxart \ USA \ Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (World).jpg

Boxart \ Japan \ Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (World).jpg

Boxart \ Europe \ Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (World).jpg

Boxart \ Custom \ Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (World).jpg

Filenames will match the ROM, and you can easily fuzzy match them whenever ROM names change. I think this is also the simplest way for Front Ends to add regional preferences for artwork. (Something I really really hope they do). If there's enough well-formated artwork packages out there, maybe there will be more incentive for them to do it? It would be nice to be able to control this via a setting in the FE, rather than having to manipulate the files themselves to trick the FE into displaying them the way you want it.

Is there interest in properly cataloging different versions for the same territory, or are most people like me, where any good quality image for that region is acceptable?
