Pepperami
Hiya guys OK so im a noob to Hyperspin, am in the middle of building a Bartop, and have the PC Components coming in the next couple of days Ive gone for a really decent spec CPU, an Intel i7 2600 and it will be going into an Asus P8Z68-V LX MoBo with 16GB of Patriot Memory My question is, am I correct in thinking that Hyperspin and the emulators I can have installed are NOT dependent on a high spec graphics card? This motherboard has built in GFX but this would I am sure affect the CPU speed and running speed, so I think I will need to buy a graphics card anyway, its just which one, what sort of spec should I be getting? If you need to know what im intending to run, the following are the emulators I intend to install as I already have them Actionmax Adventurevision Arcadia 2001 Astrocade Atari 2600 Atari 5200 Atari 7800 Atari Jaguar Atari Lynx Atomiswave Bandai Wonderswan Mono Bandai Wonderswan Color Channel F ColecoVision Commodore Amiga Creativision Daphne Famicom Disc System Future Pinball GCE Vectrex GX4000 Intellivision Magnavox Odyssey 2 MAME version 145 Neo Geo Neo Geo AES NeoGeo CD NeoGeo Pocket NeoGeo Pocket Color Nintendo Nintendo 64 Nintendo Arcade System Nintendo Gameboy Nintendo Gameboy Advace Nintendo Gameboy Color Nintendo Virtual Boy Panasonic 3DO PC-Engine PCFX POPCAP RCA Studio II Sega 32X Sega CD Sega Dreamcast Sega Gamegear Sega Master System Sega Mega Drive Sega Model 2 Sega Naomi Sega Saturn Sega SG1000 Sony Playstation Super Nintendo SuperGrafx Supervision Turbo Grafx 16 TurboGrafx CD Virtual Boy Zinc Just a few lol If you can help with recommending a GFX card please do, its one of the final parts to order Best wishes Chris
Circo
You will at least need a directx11 gfx card for sega naomi, and if you intend on running Taito Type X you should stick with nvidia.
