What Has Been Your Biggest Challenge When Setting Up Emulators?

I've noticed that many users can install an emulator successfully, but often run into issues afterward such as game compatibility, controller configuration, shader compilation stutter, performance drops, or graphics glitches.

For me, getting the right balance between performance and visual quality has usually been the biggest challenge, especially when testing different hardware setups.

What has been the most frustrating issue you've encountered while setting up or using an emulator, and how did you solve it?

I'm interested in hearing experiences from both new and experienced users since different systems seem to have completely different challenges.

I Get Most Of Them Up And Running  Except Daphne ,  Cemu  And Vita3K  ( To Complicated ).  😦

After Following a Guide I Got The  Super Model 3 Working.  ( It Was a Pain )  🤨     

CD-i Emulator  I Get It Working But The Best Games Use The Video Cartridge ( Which Hasn't Been Fully Emulated )   😦

I ended up creating a Claude skill, and so far it's been able to fully automate most of the configuration and setup for me. I know it's not the best, but so far I'm happy with the results. If anybody has advice for a noob, please share!

Claude Skill ?  I Don't Know Any Coding. I Use  Retroarch To Handle The Old Stuff, It's The New Emulators I Have To  Set Up.   🤔

I am using Claude AI and have provided it with instructions and paths, so it can perform configurations, updates, and pretty much everything I need it to do. I also use Launchbox/BigBox, so most of it is already set up, but Claude was able to fix most of the smaller issues I was having.
