  1. A few days ago, someone had asked about the Neo Geo mini marquees. I'm putting together a Neo Geo set for the Simply Austin Mini-Genesis Retropie image and here is an example of what the Magician Lord and Sengoku files would look like. I'm hoping to get some feedback to see if the bezels are good or if anyone has any suggestions to make them better. Let me know what you think!
  2. Hi guys, Wow, I just discovered EmuMovies and I have to say I am quite impressed with the quality of the content this community is creating. I have been searching around a bit, but I can't seem to find any info on the API that seems to exist in some form. I have had several user requests for my Skyscraper software to also support the EmuMovies data when the users provide their credentials. Is this something you guys can shed some light on? Is there a specific API subsite somewhere? Do I need special permission to use it? I would of course be interested in completely following any guidelines EmuMovies might have in this regard.
  3. The original image was created by Simply Austin and was made in the older "jessie" version of Retropie. I am in the process of converting it over to the new "stretch" version of Retropie (version 4.4). I've had to modify a few things to the theme in order for it to work and I'm putting together new box art, marquees and videos where needed and coordinated the names of the files so everything works perfectly. I've also completed the dates, ratings and descriptions for all the games in the databases. In addition, I have added bezels for the systems and set up filters to make them look like they are being played on a CRT Television or LCD for handhelds. I started off with the systems that have fewer games, like the Sega 32X, Nintendo Virtual Boy and Atari Lynx - these are complete and I am happy with the results. I will upload these System Packs and the Theme to the FTP with instructions on how to set up your Retropie and where to put the files. Simply Austin did an amazing job with the original and I am just reusing his brilliant work and tweaking it to work in the new version of Retropie. Regardless of whether or not you use my modified version of the theme, my system packs are 100% compatible with the original Sega Genesis Mini image he created. I will update this topic whenever I upload something to the FTP and add instructions on how to set them up.

    My Bartops Creations

Hi to everyone After a lot of search i decided to build my first bartop Cab powered by raspberry Pi. but i was not so happy with the results so i decided to build another one!!!This time powered by pcb PandoraBox 4 just for fun! Now my next project will be a Bartop pc powered with Hyperspin Front end.
  5. Taking a break from the Dreamcast covers and am putting together some MAME Bezels and Marquee packs for my Retropie. I wasn't happy with the available overlays that are out there, so I decided to make some myself. I think they turned out pretty well and I'll be releasing them on this thread. Enclosed in each pack attachment will be the marquee at 1000 pixels wide, a bezel overlay with the artwork on the sides and any background picture needed at 1920x1080 pixels and the necessary Retropie config files. I am using MAME2003 as the basis as this version runs fastest on my hardware, so the config files are tailored for that version. Using Pac-Man as an example, the pacman-image.jpg file goes in the downloaded images folder and replaces the scraped image file. Create a new folder in the Overlay folder called "MAME2003" and place the pacman.cfg and pacman.png files there. The pacman.zip.cfg file goes in the ROMS folder. Here is a list of where the files go in Retropie 4.4: gamelist: opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/mame-libretro marquees: opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/downloaded_images/mame-libretro overlays: opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/overlay/Mame2003 samples: home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/mame2003/samples ROMS & .zip.cfg: home/pi/RetroPie/roms/mame-libretro/ pacman.zip
