  1. I think it's a good idea to set post count thresholds on upgraded services... provided the community is active enough for people to obtain those thresholds without making useless posts.
  2. lucillez, let us know what you think of that emulator if you get it working... C64 is definitely on my list for my cabinet.
  3. Beer & Arcades... sounds like a good idea to me.
  4. I was half expecting this topic to be about a Kia commercial... I guess advertising does work. Glad to hear that you had a backup. I always create images of my computers (side effect of having to re-install Windows multiple times over the years), so my arcade hard drive is no exception.
  5. This topic is directed as those that have an arcade cabinet or have done the research and are in the process of building one. What would you describe as the best layout for a Hyperspin Arcade cabinet? Personally, I am leaning towards a 4-player layout with each player having a 4/8 way control stick, a thumb button and 6 player buttons. I considered pinball buttons on the sides, however, with a 4 player layout they would be an uncomfortable distance apart.
  6. As a newbie to the emulator community, props to Circo for starting this site and to all the admins and content contributors for its constant improvements. Keep up the good work!
  7. Big fan of the NES platform... - Mario - Little Mac (Mike Tyson's Punch Out)
  8. I am using Hyperspin simply because I like the user interface.
  9. Bartop Arcade on a bar top... nice! Why did you have to post a pic with Mike Tyson's Punchout... now I gotta go play that game!
  10. First game ever... have to be Pong on a cheesy console that plugged into the TV.
  11. Greetings from Saskatchewan. I am new to the emulation scene but very interested in building my own Hyperspin arcade cabinet. I am currently starting to compile all the software components so I can work out those bugs prior to constructing the actual cabinet. Of course the software includes art and video snaps... which this site seems to cover extremely well.
