Anyway here's the link for your perusal: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=45463622 *I also have mint manuals of 3D Dot Game Heroes, Zoids: Legacy, Yager, Alien: Resurrection, Motor Toon Grand Prix, Nicktoons Racing, Codename: Tenka, etc.* Comic bundle for Capcom games from Humble Bundle. *I also have mint manuals of 3D Dot Game Heroes, Zoids: Legacy, Yager, Alien: Resurrection, Motor Toon Grand Prix, Nicktoons Racing, Codename: Tenka, etc.* A while ago I did manage to get my hands on this collection of Silent Hill music. I mean to scan the artwork and discs of every one of them in at least 800 dpi PNGs on an Epson V39 and upload them on this site. Obviously I'll also upload the MP3 files at 320 KBPS as well. I need to replace my scanner with another that works before I can start anything, and I was given the advice to start a Patreon to help with that. So I did start a Patreon. Donations are not at all necessary; I've been archiving for a year without them after all, but it would absolutely speed up the process by being able to procure the equipment. If you like my work and would like to throw me a dollar, it'd be appreciated. I do own near mint copies of all the original Silent Hill games, Kings Field games, Resident Evil games, Dino Crisis games, etc., so you can look forward to crisp 800 dpi scans of their manuals eventually. I have no experience with Patreon, so please forgive any clumsiness. Anyway here's the link for your perusal: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=45463622 Thank you.

  5. It looks really nice, but you could make them less than a whole page. Great on you for keeping the raw scans. If these a JPGs, I know a site where you can make the PDF without whole pages. https://www.convert-jpg-to-pdf.net/, just set Margin to None and Page Size to Fit Image.
  6. View File Predator: Concrete Jungle (PS2) manual scan test I'm testing out my new scanner. I want to find the best scan settings before I start submitting content again. Right now I'm looking at the default scan options, since I'm not fluent in customizing levels of anything. So I have scanned 4 different images, all at 600 dpi. A is a photo scan with default corrections. B is a document scan with default corrections. C is a photo scan with no corrections. D is a document scan with no corrections. Which do you think is better? Don't mind the cropping; this test is only for image quality. I do own both the Xbox and PS2 versions of Predator: Concrete Jungle, and I will make high-res manuals of them when I get the hang of this. Oh, and they're PNGs. No more lossy JPGs anymore. Then I'll do the Silent Hill Sounds Box, especially since the games are being ported to GOG. Submitter BlaketheElder Submitted 10/02/2020 Category Game Manual Submissions Naming File Count 4

  10. I’m thinking about getting the Epson Perfection V39 after looking at this review: https://www.techgearlab.com/reviews/small-and-home-office/scanner/epson-perfection-v39 but I'd still like to take suggestions. You might know something I don't.
  11. Yeah, after doing a little research I noticed they do sell scanners and that I’ll probably have to choose between Epson and Canon, but I don’t know which is more reliable for this line of work as some user reviews claim they stopped working after a while. The big project is the Silent Hill Soundbox btw.
  12. I got my hands on something BIG. Something super rare and expensive that I want to archive and share it with all of you. But my all-in-one printer's scanner has stopped working properly, the warranty's long gone, and no amount of troubleshooting has made any improvement, and I've everything multiple times. I'm looking to replace it, but I don't have the funds to purchase another new all-in-one printer, y'know because I bought something super rare and expensive. Besides, it would be impractical. What I would like to ask is advice on buying a High Quality scanner, if they even make them. No printer or anything, just a standalone page scanning equipment. Needs to be at least 300 dpi. Preferably HP brand, because I use their app to make my content, but it doesn't have to be. Preferably around $200 or less; anymore and I may as well buy another printer. I can sell some of my rarer stuff to pay it off. Just message me with suggestions. I can't go back to archiving anything without a scanner, so the sooner I can fix this, the better. And this THING is really worth it. I'm keeping it secret until it's physically in my hands, and to garner attention to this post, but it is something I guarantee you will want. Unless you have no taste. Oh, and I finally got my hands on a manual to Jurassic Park III: The DNA Factor, completing my Jurassic Park III GBA trilogy of manuals. So there's that.
  13. Thanks, but I think I found the culprit and it’s excess static electricity. Going to test it tomorrow to see if the image is distortion free, bit the image looked much nicer last I checked.
  14. I haven't uploaded any manuals recently because I have strange vertical lines present in my scans. I was going to upload HAZE for PS3 and then Vietcong: Purple Haze for XBOX when I noticed vertical lines across my scans. I attached some files that are evidence of that (notice the color shift). I use a HP ENVY 4500, and have already looked into their FAQs for these problems. They didn't work. Before really sinking into service support hell, I'd like to ask if any of you have any advice to solve this. I can't submit manuals or other content if my scanner doesn't work.
