  1. An ancillary question, are the videos on the FTP the same as the videos on the website, other than being a higher resolution? After downloading a few hundred videos, I have noticed that many are pretty good videos, either showing the core aspect of a game, or fading between many different parts of a game; but some are just phoned in (ex: 30 seconds of walking on the "over world" map on a tactics game, no flash of combat). Is this an artifact of them being the free downloads? Is there more thought put into the paid videos, or are they just higher resolution? I don't mean to sound ungrateful, I just want to know if its worth subscribing. I don't mind paying for the time and effort that these take.
Its a pretty good selection of clips, but its resolution is very distorted. Its squat and wide. The description says that its 480x720 but the video downloaded is 640×480
  2. There are no GBA Logos here: https://emumovies.com/files/category/1802-artwork/ There is not even an entry for them in "Available Media" on the GBA section of the EmuMovies Sync app. So my question was, is there a bigger selection on the FTP (as opposed to the website and the sync app). My question was a little more general than just GBA though. I have a handful of titles for each platform that are missing cover art, logos, or videos and I wanted to know if I subscribe, will the FTP contain the missing resources, or is it just a mirror of the Sync and Website?
  3. Sync is Windows only, my emulation box is a Linux box. This makes it difficult to have Sync read my library to generate a game list. What I do, is use ls to generate a list of all my titles, and then loop over that list and use touch to generate new, empty files with that name, and copy that to a Windows box to use Sync with. This is tedious and I have to keep these lists updated whenever I add new titles. Also when a game has two dozen tracks, like so: Some Game (USA) (Disc 1) (Track 1).bin Some Game (USA) (Disc 1) (Track 2).bin Some Game (USA) (Disc 1) (Track 3).bin ... I don't need two dozen copies of the artwork. This brings me to my request. If Sync could have a list of all titles, from all systems (even if the titles have no assets yet), and you could select which titles you have. Sync would use this file list to check for assets, rather than (or in addition to) looking at the file system.
  4. I have a fairly large list of missing artwork for the systems I am emulating. For most systems this is just a handful of titles, but for some systems entire sections (like GBA Logos) are missing. Is there a bigger selection on the FTP? Is there a normal process to request missing artwork/vids?
  5. I agree, a check list of what you want to download, rather than a drop down, would be ideal.
  6. Has there been any updates to this?
  7. I made a list of all the games I have that I was able to play that have "unplayable" videos: Enter the Matrix Lara Croft Tomb Raider - Legend Legend of Spyro, The - A New Beginning Legend of Spyro, The - The Eternal Night Max Payne Prince of Persia - Warrior Within Rayman - Raving Rabbids Shadow Man - 2econd Coming Shadow the Hedgehog Shin Megami Tensei - Devil Summoner - Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army Shin Megami Tensei - Devil Summoner 2 - Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon Silent Hill - Shattered Memories Silent Hill 3 Silent Hill 4 - The Room Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - Double Agent Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - Pandora Tomorrow Tomb Raider - Underworld Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Tony Hawk's Underground Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Valkyrie Profile 2 - Silmeria Warhammer 40,000 - Fire Warrior Wild Arms 3 Wild Arms 4 Xenosaga Episode III - Also sprach Zarathustra To be clear I define play, as simply getting in game and being able to control your character (move around, fight, etc...) with no major glitches.
  8. I came here to post the very same thing in regards to PS2 titles. Is there a standardized process or script thats used to generate these videos?
