*** Q & A ***
Q: Why did it take so long?
A: This has been a long time coming and that’s because we’ve spent extra time adding the features you wanted into the next evolution of gaming front ends!
Q: Who created it?
A: This is the most advanced FE ever written by the best in the scene. In development for over 5 years by coders with over 25 years in FE and arcade app development combined!
Q: Why did you create it?
A: This is a creation born out of love and passion for the retro arcade and emulation community. The cost was great but it’s our gift to you and this is only the beginning!
Q: Where is feature X your promo video promised?
A: We have included every feature we promised except for the Theme Editor. It’s still in production. Let us know if you’re interested!
Q: What about native HyperSpin theme rendering?
A: It’s in there we just don’t think it’s that important. We’re not trying to be HyperSpin but we’re fans of the project – hi Bill!
Q: What about RocketLauncher?
A: While we think it’s a pretty cool project we think if you’re paying for a FE like ours it should all be integrated. That’s why our Setup Wizard does everything! No 3rd party tools required!
Q: What’s the future of GameEx Evolution?
A: Very bright! But we need your support and for us to succeed we need your help to get the word out. So don’t just sit there, tell everyone the good news!
Q: I need help or have a question!
A: Great! Please visit our GameEx Evolution Forums

    SUPER RETRO GAMER #9

    Super Retro Gamer #9

    #SRG 9

Sunday 26th February saw another session of my favorite hobby of playing retrogames on they original systems. Well here's my usual introduction for Super Retro Gamer. The first part maybe only 2 minutes and 14 seconds long and was only disconnected because I tripped over a table.

This video was actually just an introduction of me and Glen, who is one of my regular run in buddies. Who i have played many game with him on a regular plus we are uber wrestling fans as well. Did we play WWF no mercy  on the N64 you damn right we did.

    The second video

This is the first time I actually talk about Final Fight, Fatal Fury (which at first I called art of fighting, My mistake), Tekken tag tournament and revealed a little bit of history about myself and Glen and how long we have known each other for. 2 people I said I knew who I didn't reveal their identities are from my old turbo games stomping ground when it was based in Bethnal Green back in the mid 90's when independent games stores were a thing. Final Fight was a classic for the time and was one of Capcom defining walk along beat 'em ups this was before Street fighter 2 hit the scene and changed everything for Capcom. Fatal Fury was SNK's attempt to cash in on the street fighter craze using their Neo Geo hardware which was of course very solid but expensive as hell. For a console despite being expensive as hell it was also the closest to getting to the arcade because it was technically an small dual slot (if you look at the base of a Neo Geo cart, you will see why). I'm going off topic But the SNES version was good but has shown its age with the pixelation of the sprites onscreen. The SNES wasn't designed to be displayed on a LCD screen because the old TV had a surprising amount of rastering. Anyways moving on

    This next clip

A mere 6 seconds because the wi-fi died or was it my phone.

    OK Take 2

Both me and Glen play and get our asses handed to us on Punch Out. This is one of them games that has aged very well considering its age. Plays very well and doesn't hold back. I start off well then I forget to actually work my stamina and avoid the hits. So over time we both lose and we get decked. So I decide to move then I notice someone playing one of my personal favorite games EVER! Conkers Bad Fur Day.

While I recorded this live I was also being filmed my good friend Zee who was one Instagram Live. In the same Video, I was impersonating both Conker and Birdy within the first sequence of the game. Zee is the actually organiser and founder of the super retro gamer event. I have not written about the other recent events because my work has been a real hog recently. While I stop recording at this point because I was trying to play games including WWF no mercy (fuck I forgot how to play this its been so long since I played this game). Yesterday was also quite special because this lovely young lady actually attended.

She is far nicer in person and she reviews retrogames most recently she covered the Horace series on the spectrum. She is only starting out so please be gentle guys and any sexist remarks will be flamed grilled by me personally so please play nice. the only reason I recognised her was that damned Rolodex in my head went off like I know her but where. Then it clicked Twitter. We talked, I introduced her to the gang and we welcomed her in. The usual banter between me and @friendlypoison as he still tries and FAILS to complete Terminator again (lol). Next month I will record it and I will show you perseverance because this guys doesn't give up.

The Terminator on the Megadrive / Genesis on easy is exactly that easy but on the next setting forget it because it's challenging as hell but still like a abused child he keeps going back to it. anyways that's enough for the time being. If you want to see more videos for #SRG, look up

on twitter for updates on event. Anyways that's enough waffling from me tonight so I will bid you adieu and good night. Also what games do you want me to play at these events. shout out in the comments below.
