These custom console themed overlays were made by me to play retro console games on Retroarch. I wanted these overlays to evoke a nostalgic feeling. Please enjoy and have fun. Please give me credit if you use it on your channel. Thanks. Please keep in mind these videos are not walkthroughs they're just quick samples to show the overlays.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to take a moment and thank this community for everything they've done and sharing it with the world. The amount of patience and talent it takes to create all of the art and videos you do is incredible. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

You mean like this https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/43107-styphelus-platform-boxes/ Yes, I had a whole pack done (60+boxes) and posted them in the launchbox forums. They were all done from scratch at 1920x1080 resolution and took me months to do. There are no pristine images of console boxes that I could find. They all had to be replicated, down to the same fonts. I took them down from the Lunchbox forum because a known video maker started taking my work and claiming it as his own. Instead of protecting the work of art creators, the mods gave me a warning for complaining and told me all I do is move logos around and can't claim ownership of the work. I even overlayed my work with the other guys work and the 2 aligned perfectly but they didn't care. They showed no respect for the months of work I put in. Too bad because I actually like their software and wanted to contribute to the community there. Never had any issues like that while at the Hyperspin forums. Everyone there was respectful of other people's work. I'm currently adding gameplay videos to the whole pack. Might take a while to finish them off. I can post what I have here at Emumovies if Circo is interested.

3D Boxes Pack for the Nintendo Game Boy Availability - Site, FTP, Sync So I recently updated my Nintendo Game Boy database to full version 1.2 (with japanese and unlicensed games). I did make a cheapy 3D box set for this system a few years back with just USA and Europe games. This one is updated with every game in the database including japanese games and those shitty Sachen games. All spine art has been recreated and many of the boxes are cleaned up and look very nice. The Sachen game boxes dont look nice because I couldnt find any decent scans. I even had to make a few custom boxes for the games I could not find. Some Japanese boxes look like crap too because I could not find ANY decent scans for those. I found a handful of redrawn japanese boxes here but they were never completed. There are 250 japanese and unlicensed games in in the database alone! That was actually frustrating, but ever game in the database has a box art image. Included are photoshop templates for those who wish to add or update existing game boxes. Enjoy this collection! Hi all, These are my Mame Bezel Art files which include a "Lay" file (so can be dumped straight into the Mame artwork folder once you unzip the main folder. These files will be ideal for use direct into Mame and on a tv with 16:9 view. Contains 121 files (letter T) of bezel arts from the internet, oh plus some of my own. I've cloned into two different glass views. I've opted for the "Real Frame Clear" and "Real Frame Glass" effect and just done left and right sides rather than all round as that would just take way too long and also I found a lot of the bezels found on the internet just take up too much of the screen and to compensate this you have to change the screen size. (the art1 files included are just the originals taken from the internet). Both mame formats 4:3 Horizontal and 3:4 Vertical have been done. Once placed in the Mame Artwork folder start a game and Tab to Video Options pick which one you prefer "Clear" or "glass" and then you have to make a slight adjustement within the "Slider" tab for both Screen Horizontal and Screen Vertical (usually around .966 for both) The games are taken from the rom set that I currently have so title names may slightly differ from the ones you have. (i'm happy to email anyone my Excel file with all the game names vs rom names, if needed) For the games that I could not find any artwork at all for, I've setup a few standard looking sets (6 Horizontal and 6 Vertical) which gives a view as if your in an actual arcade. ****Any comments or feedback would be much appreciated people***** Adam

Marquee Magician is a program to display Images, HiToText, and/or Usage Statistics on a secondary monitor. Before Using Marquee Magician: You will need to download IrfanView, and put a copy of i_view32.exe into the Marquee Magician Folder. After Irfanview has been installed, run Template Creator v2.0. (The setup program can be used on a system with only one monitor, however to be able to display the graphics in your FE, you will need two monitors.) I have included a .pdf file with detailed instructions on the Template Creator program. Marquee Magician Usage: Marquee Magician is a command line program. Usage: C:\Users\Matt\Desktop\Marquee Magician\Launch MM v2.0.exe "System" "[Rom]" where System is the name of your template, which can be found in the MM.ini file between []. EG. [Nintendo 64] Example: (Using GameEx) For Mame, Using 'Advanced Mame Settings (2) / Run on Launch' I have: "C:\My Marquee Magician\Launch MM.exe" "MAME Games" "[Rom]" and in the 'Run on Exit' I have: "C:\My Marquee Magician\Launch MM.exe" "GameEx" I only have one parameter in the 'Run on exit' because I only display static images while in GameEx. You can also use "C:\My Marquee Magician\Launch MM.exe" "Kill" to clear the screen, and not display additional images. I have included my templates, MM.ini, and GameEx.ini for you to see how I set it up. Composite Images: Marquee Magician can merge multiple images into one image. To do this, first set up a template, and assign it to an emulator. Use {Ctrl}{PrintScreen} to select the composite image option. You will be asked to select an emulator, the location of your roms folder, and a folder to put the new images into. It takes about 2 seconds per image on my laptop to create an image. The 3 Stooges image was created with Marquee Magician (the actual image quality is better, using the .png extension.)
