We have started working on the MAME video snap update. During this update not only are we adding missing videos but attempt to audit videos with bad audio, improved emulation etc. Updates are being uploaded daily to the FTP and Download Service. So far we have added or updated 353 videos. I will post every few days with the updates.

Will they be available in mp4 hi quality? Also I am just using the download service utility and I have a complete set before you are now updating them. I have 19543 roms. So do I just point the utility to my rom file and where my snap videos are and check for updates box and it will scan my videos and update only the ones I need that you are working on?

OK it is updating the snap videos. Here is the one that is still upside down. rom name g13knd. I can help to find ones that are broken or not added. I am using 146u3 working games only. I'm sure you are just using 146 mame rom list. But I can give you a head start on these so when mame 147 comes out you wont have to do as much.

OK I updated my mame snap videos today and decided to give a hand to find which ones are missing or wrong etc. I just did #-A and I left out the poker and fruit machines but have them written down. Here are the main games I found missing or problems #-A

39in1- missing
alien crush - missing
alpine ski - wrong video
animal catch - missing
astro wars - missing
atomic boy - bad sound

That's it for the working games so not to shabby

I have made sure these were all fixed and just performed another large update to the set. Some however have already been replaced in the last week. What method are you using to update your mame videos? If you are using the FTP (recommended) make sure to use the following setting when the file exists dialog box comes up.

Looks awesome so far. I decided to go back and check the ones from A-D in case I missed something before I move on. I found a few. I checked on the ftp server first and downloaded the most recent ones before I submit the list.

bubble pong pong - missing I can't find it on the ftp
choutetsu brikinger - missing (ironclad)
complex x - sound issue

I noticed on the american poker II games, amuse, animal catch, arm champs and crazy monkey that they just show the init machine screen.
Was a pain in the ass for me to get past these. I know I went to the tab button when I started the game and just pressed some of the keys they have assigned for those games and eventually got past the init machine screen. Looks great so far. I will check on the letter E's this Sunday. Keep up the great work.

erotictac/tactic (ertictac) - hissing sound I updated this today and still has sound issue
extra inning (einning) - hissing sound Also updated today but still sound issue
Fantasy zone II-the tears of opa-opa (fantz2x) - missing
fire barrel (firebarr) - hissing sound
fire truck (firetrk) - hissing sound
fishing (cfishing) - missing 146u2 or u3
flipper jack (flipjack) - missing
fortecard (fortecrd) - missing
fortune 1 (fortune1) - hissing sound

I checked on the ftp server today and updated but still have issues with these. I will move on to letter G
