Hiya guys

OK so im a noob to Hyperspin, am in the middle of building a Bartop, and have the PC Components coming in the next couple of days :)

Ive gone for a really decent spec CPU, an Intel i7 2600 and it will be going into an Asus P8Z68-V LX MoBo with 16GB of Patriot Memory

My question is, am I correct in thinking that Hyperspin and the emulators I can have installed are NOT dependent on a high spec graphics card?

This motherboard has built in GFX but this would I am sure affect the CPU speed and running speed, so I think I will need to buy a graphics card anyway, its just which one, what sort of spec should I be getting?

If you need to know what im intending to run, the following are the emulators I intend to install as I already have them

You will at least need a directx11 gfx card for sega naomi, and if you intend on running Taito Type X you should stick with nvidia.

I appreciate the help thank you, so the graphics card IS fairly important then?

Am I going to be able to get away with a card thats a couple of years old, the earlier less spec 1GB cards, or am I really going to need a more up to date one?

Damm this build is getting expensive lol
