About EmuMovies

EmuMovies is a project that started in 2005 to create video previews of video games to replace static screenshots on an arcade cabinet that I was building. Since then the collection has grown to well over 19,000 video game previews for Arcade, Console, Handheld and even Computer based game systems. The main use for the Video Snaps is to use them with an Emulation Front-End to give you a better sense of the game experience while browsing through a game list. With high quality video and audio instead of a static snapshot, it really makes the whole experience much more engaging and entertaining .

The EmuMovies Project includes not only Video Snaps but also complete artwork packs for use in most emulation Front-Ends out there. The goal is to have all types of artwork i.e. Videos, Snaps, Titles, Boxes, Carts, Overlays and Game Manuals, all with the latest verified naming conventions. Since the launch of our new website and forums in 2009 EmuMovies has become a community of video game enthusiasts with many users contributing content and support for the project. In our community FTP Fileserver and Download Sections, Members can contribute and download the latest Video Snaps and Artwork Packs and new content is added frequently.

EmuMovies has partnered with most Front-End developers to ensure a seamless home arcade experience. Currently our Video Snaps are supported by HyperSpin, GameEx, Maximus Arcade, MaLa, Mamewah, 3D Arcade, MultiFE, MameXT, and many others. So whether you are after MAME Video Snaps, or Cart & Box Scans from your favorite classic console system or handheld, even if you just need that manual from your favorite childhood game, or you just want it all, rest assured that you have come to the right place.
